Kapral Memorial Tournaments

Our mission is to celebrate the spirit in which Dave Kapral lived his life by helping young adults achieve their life ambitions through the sport of ice hockey and to promote and foster the values instilled in him by his family.  It is in this spirit and within this value system that Dave became the person he is most remembered as, a shining light of warmth and friendship to all he met during his young life.

It is this legacy that we hope to instill in other young adults through an annual ice hockey tournament and scholarship awards bearing his name.

To recognize those young men and women who best personify Dave's spirit and values in their own lives, both on and off the ice, the Dave Kapral Scholarship Foundation, will award high-school and college scholarships each year.

Furthermore, and in recognition of Dave's belief in community service and brotherhood, additional scholarship consideration will be given to those who may be underprivileged or those who may be experiencing hardships.
